Scope and content This is an artificial series which collates local business ephemera such as account statements and correspondence. It was possibly collected initially by a private citizen but has certainly since been added to by Heritage Centre staff as it includes many documents with local councils recorded as the customer. One of the intentions behind this collection appears to be a method of collating business logos and letterheads. The council records contained in this collection were likely due to be destroyed as they were not of permanent value as public records.
